50th Anniversary

Welcome

…. to the 50^th Anniversary website of the Reformed Church of Hastings.

At a time like this it is good to reflect on God’s goodness and faithfulness to our church as we celebrate its 50^th Anniversary on 24 September 2010.  It started with a few people sitting around a tape recorder (see Memoirs) wishing to bring glory to God.  We can see how God’s hand has blessed us through those sometimes turbulent 50 years, bringing us to this place where we are bursting out of our seams.  God is good!

This site is a historical snap shot of where we have been and where we are right now.  Take a look at the photos, past and present, of church happenings.  Read through the history of how we started.  Read about the different memories from various members of the congregation. (Memoirs)  Poke around and have a good look at what’s been happening and is happening at the Reformed Church of Hastings.

We are indeed thankful to God for preserving and increasing our church.  As we look to our next generation, our hope and prayer is that they would keep that first love and remain true and faithful to God.
